Company History
How it all began & why we’re here…
In May of 2003, a local grocery store stock-boy noticed the growing need for computer maintenance in his local community where technology consultation services was steadily rising in demand. Consumer’s options were severely limited as the nearest computer repair shops were inconveniently located miles away, thus creating a geographic monopoly over the surrounding communities.
Located just outside of the New Bethlehem area, a well established general electronics retailer also noticed the increasing demand for computer maintenance. In response to the demand, the electronics retailer respectively expanded his market segments by offering a store-branded product line of custom-built computers. After several years of successful operation, the increasing popularity & cost effectiveness of pre-built computers began to decrease the profitability of custom-built machines. The general electronics retailer also faced product-line competition from high-volume-mass-producing outfits which offered lower costs & faster service. The general electronics retailer continues to offer basic computer repair services, but primarily depends on their other products/services for maintaining profitability, thus limiting their flexibility to offer competitive pricing.
During the most profitable years of the general electronics store, another local technician began his own computer repair shop in downtown New Bethlehem. Also, having several years of successful service, the technician’s repair shop began to experience the same market fluctuation as the general electronics retailer. Unfortunately, the technician’s computer repair shop could not meet the overwhelming demand nor could they afford to uphold their storefront as rising costs and a sudden downturn in the local economy forced them to close their doors. Since the closing of the New Bethlehem computer repair shop, consumers have been held at the mercy of competitor’s inflationary pricing, inconvenient traveling expenses, and unsatisfactory customer service.
As the years passed from the product offerings of the general electronics retailer, to the years of specialized service from the New Bethlehem computer repair shop, the grocery store stock-boy researched the operational feasibility of implementing a technology-based consultation organization. The results of his research found that current trends towards an increase in demand for technology consultation services has introduced a number of tech-savvy entrepreneurs and decreased customer satisfaction amongst existing companies who are overwhelmed in providing quality service; thus presenting an opportunity for market penetration.
To the present day, there has yet been a convenient and cost-effective solution for meeting the ever-increasing market demand for consumer-friendly technology support.
From a grocery store stock-boy’s idea, to a technology enthusist & business entreprenur’s dream, ladies & gentleman, introducing TechReady Professionals aka TechReady Pro.
